The work of ATS Pro Terra Sancta is based on the ultimate conviction that anyone who has had an encounter with Christ is able to share the Good News with others, and it is his duty to do so. There is no separation between being and communicating, between having an experience and sharing it. ATS Pro Terra Sancta carries out and promotes projects in the Holy Land with the goal of living according to this conviction.

The work of ATS Pro Terra Sancta is characterized by a respect for certain fundamental principles:

Loving
each individual and his personal destiny

Dialoguing
with all entities present to identify real existing needs

Jointly formulating
Targeted projects and strategies with the people on site

Promoting
future-oriented initiatives

Supporting
the Custody of the Holy Land in the fulfillment of its mission to preserve the Christian tradition and heritage

ATS Pro Terra Sancta would like to give everyone the opportunity to participate in the fulfillment of the important task entrusted to the Custody of the Holy Land by the Church.

“John Paul II said that the Holy Land needs bridges and not walls … What this means in practice is that we must try to be open to all, to have the prophetic courage and freedom to care for everyone. For us, there must no barriers or walls that divide people from each other. As a living Church we must have everyone’s interests at heart. We must make this clear through our actions and our words … It is difficult to preach reconciliation when you are suffering … The Gospel begins where difficulties and contradictions begin.”
