The Holy Land magazine is now available in digital format for iPad

Giacomo Pizzi29 September 2012

The digital edition of the magazine The Holy Land, and its sister Italian-language version Terrasanta, has now come to iPad.

These are aimed at all those who wish to deepen their understanding of the cultural and spiritual aspects of the Holy Land, and offer articles on the Bible, current events, ecumenism, culture and inter-religious dialogue. The contents thus correspond closely to the guiding principles on which the operation of ATS pro Terra Sancta is based: the importance of the Holy Places and their enhancement and preservation, and the importance of keeping the local Christian communities firmly rooted there.

The new digital format of the magazine contains services, files, interviews, photo galleries, videos and in-depth reviews on special topics.

In this version the magazine will have a horizontal (“landscape”) orientation in order to optimize the display of photos and other images; improved graphics and multimedia presentation to provide the reader a more agile access to the entire contents of the bi-monthly; support for Newsstand, the folder visible on the Home screen that brings together all of your subscriptions in a single App; and the possibility to share material via social networks.

The first two issues (May-June and July-August 2012) can be downloaded for free, while individual issues of The Holy Land from the third onwards can be acquired for €3.99, or by an annual subscription costing €18.49.
