NOS ACTIVITÉS

CONSERVATION ET DÉVELOPPEMENT

En contribuant à la préservation des lieux saints, l’Association pro Terra Sancta s’engage à mieux faire connaître leur valeur dans toutes les communautés locales, y compris les juifs et les musulmans. Les activités de préservation et de développement sont également une occasion de former des ouvriers qualifiés et des artisans, de créer des emplois pour les jeunes (en particulier des femmes et des personnes handicapées) et de générer des sources de revenus grâce à des activités sociales et culturelles liées au tourisme durable. La récupération et la mise en valeur du patrimoine culturel sont également un moyen de favoriser la rencontre et la coexistence entre différents peuples vivant sur cette terre choisie et aimée par Dieu. ÉDUCATION ET ASSISTANCE

Les projets d’éducation et de soutien apportent une assistance aux plus pauvres et aux plus démunis. Ils se concentrent sur l’éducation des nouvelles générations afin de créer l’espoir d’un avenir de paix et de développement. Divers projets ont été réalisés, directement ou en collaboration avec des œuvres caritatives de Terre Sainte, pour venir en aide aux nécessiteux (en particulier pour les enfants handicapés et les femmes en difficulté) et pour former les nouvelles générations de jeunes. Nous soutenons les enfants handicapés, les personnes âgées, les familles pauvres, en particulier les femmes. Enfin, nous sommes très déterminés à fournir une assistance médicale et sanitaire aux personnes qui ne peuvent pas payer les soins essentiels. URGENCES

Les urgences humanitaires au Moyen-Orient sont toujours très dramatiques, en particulier dans la région appelée «région de Saint-Paul» (Liban, Syrie, Jordanie). De violents combats ont encore lieu à distance de marche de certains des lieux saints les plus importants de notre foi. Nos projets en faveur de la population couvrent la distribution de biens primaires (y compris les médicaments) et, dans la mesure du possible, la reconstruction de ce qui a été détruit par la guerre, afin de favoriser la renaissance et le développement de la société civile. CONSERVAZIONE E SVILUPPO

L’Associazione pro Terra Sancta, contribuendo alla conservazione dei luoghi, è impegnata ad accrescere la consapevolezza del loro valore in tutte le comunità locali, comprese quelle ebraiche e musulmane. Le attività di recupero e valorizzazione sono inoltre opportunità per formare manovalanza e artigiani qualificati, occupare i giovani (favorendo il coinvolgimento delle donne e delle persone con disabilità) e generare fonti di reddito attivando iniziative socio-imprenditoriali legate al turismo sostenibile e nuove forme di accoglienza. Il recupero e la valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale facilitano e generano inoltre continue occasioni d’incontro e convivenza tra tutte le genti che vivono e convergono in questa Terra scelta e amata da Dio.

EDUCAZIONE E ASSISTENZA

I progetti dell’area educazione e assistenza cercano di offrire soccorso ai più poveri nonché moltiplicare gli sforzi nella promozione umana, focalizzando l’attenzione sull'educazione delle nuove generazioni, punto fondamentale per poter sperare in un futuro di pace e di sviluppo. Abbiamo realizzato diversi progetti direttamente e in collaborazione con opere di carità locali, per assistere i più deboli e formare la nuova generazione di giovani. Sosteniamo i bambini con disabilità, anziani, famiglie povere con attenzione particolare rivolta alle donne.

EMERGENZE

Le emergenze umanitarie in Medio Oriente e in particolare in quella che noi chiamiamo regione San Paolo (Libano, Siria, Giordania) restano all’ordine del giorno. Guerre che mostrano tanta violenza a pochi passi dai luoghi santificati da Gesù. I nostri progetti a sostegno della popolazione riguardano la distribuzione di beni di prima necessità (alimentari e non ) e, dove possibile, cercano di contribuire alla ricostruzione di quanto è stato distrutto dalla guerra, per favorire una rinascita e lo sviluppo della società civile.
