The children of Milan and mosaic art

For the first time the exhibition on Mosaics in the Holy Land, currently on display in Milan, will also involve the younger ones. Children who visit the exhibition now have the opportunity to participate in creative workshops introducing them to mosaic art.

There to guide them in assembling the various colored tiles are the expert hands of one of the mosaic artists from the Mosaic Center of Jericho who collaborated in creating the works displayed at the exhibition.

The enthusiasm has been great, with the children surrounding the table and then, after having carefully observed the mosaicist’s technique, trying their hand at the fascinating “game” of mosaics.
