LEBANON
An unprecedented crisis
Lebanon is currently devastated by a serious instability that has impacted every aspect of social life. This situation is the result of a combination of factors, including a deep economic and health crisis. In 2022, the World Bank declared that the economic crisis in Lebanon is among the three most serious worldwide since the 50s of the nineteenth century. The Lebanese population has been hit hard, with disastrous consequences for the economy, the health system and the quality of life in general.

No future
The lack of jobs, basic necessities and medicines leads Lebanese families to make difficult choices every day.

Who stayed
80% of the population lives now in conditions of absolute poverty. Yet there are those who stayed to build the future.
