Since a few days, the situation in Gaza City has been worsening by the hour. The incessant bombardments are causing destruction, death, and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people. Despite the immense difficulties, the religious figures of the Latin Parish of Gaza City have chosen to stay by the side of the 450 refugees who have found shelter in the church.

Among the buildings of the port district of Tripoli, a Lebanese city marked by poverty and unemployment, stands the Franciscan convent that the inhabitants now call "the oasis of Al-Mina". It is a beautiful and tidy place, where medical assistance is offered and where many recreational activities are carried out. But it is also a place where everyone can feel welcomed.

In a context where there seems to be no way out, through the activities of our canteen and the distribution of food parcels, we reach 2,000 families every month.
