More destruction and death in Syria
February 6th, 2023: strong earthquakes hit Syria and Turkey, with tremors of magnitude 7.8, causing terrible damage. At the moment there are 9300 dead and more than 5000 people injured from the damage of the earthquake, in addition to collapsed buildings. Today in Syria, we dig through the rubble relentlessly, once again.

Earthquake Emergency
The devastating earthquake in Syria has claimed thousands of lives – and the toll continues to grow frighteningly by the hour. Those who managed to save themselves, did so by running away on the street, at night, in the dark and without lights, in the rain and snow, with children in their arms. After an icy night, which left only death and destruction in Syria, already bent by 12 years of civil war, today we are back to digging in the rubble.
