In fact, some of the most important events recounted in the Bible, do not take place only in the most famous places such as Jerusalem and Bethlehem or Nazareth, but also in neighboring regions including present-day Syria and Lebanon.
In Syria and Lebanon, the first Christian communities have developed,and here began the journeys and preaching of St. Paul, who converted to Christianity on his way to Damascus to persecute the Christians who were there.
