Magnificat: Palestinian pianists in concert in the Holy City

Giacomo Pizzi23 January 2012

The activities of the Magnificat music Institute are continuing: in several days there will be a new opportunity to listen to talented musicians from all over the Holy Land.

On Sunday 29 January, at 18.00 in the Auditorium of St. Saviour’s Monastery in Jerusalem, the 13th edition of the “St. Nikolaus De La Flüe” piano competition will be held. Performing this evening will be the winners of the competition, in which many young Palestinian pianists are participating, both students from the Magnificat Institute and from other Palestinian schools. Entry is free, and the program is attached.

These concerts are just one example of ATS pro Terra Sancta’s involvement in support of the music school and its activities.
