To mark the month in which the U.S. commemorates African American history, on 12 February there will be a concert in Jerusalem given by the Yasmeen Choir of the Magnificat Institute accompanied by the soprano Nicole Taylor.
It will represent an encounter between two different musical traditions, classical and spiritual, and will place the great American soprano alongside the developing musicians of the Jerusalem musical institute.
The concert, which will begin at 18.00 in the Auditorium of St. Saviour’s Monastery in Jerusalem (near the New Gate), is being organized by the American House (the U.S. Consul General) in collaboration with the Magnificat Institute.A special concert by the prestigious Magnificat Institute of Jerusalem
