Online the new website of the Sanctuary of the Nativity in Bethlehem!

Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy. For unto you is born this day a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” Luke 2:10-11.

On the occasion of Holy Christmas, the Custody of the Holy Land wishes happy holidays, offering to pilgrims and lovers of the Holy Land the possibility to visit, on our new website, the place where our Lord Jesus was born.

Visit the website of the Sanctuary of the Nativity in Bethlehem!

The site, in four languages, is part of the “Project to renovate the Internet sites of the Sanctuaries”, along with the sites for the Holy Sepulchre and Capernaum, and is enriched with a new layout that places at its center the Sanctuary and its Gospel message. Like the shepherds, called by the angel to adore the Child Jesus, so will all pilgrims now be able to visit, or revisit, the Holy Place where the Mystery of the Incarnation was fulfilled; savoring each detail thanks to the revised contents and the Virtual Photographic Tour.

The subject matter, divided into thematic sections, will accompany the visitor through the history of Bethlehem and its Sanctuary, aiding in the fascinating discovery of the place, in the light of the central event in the history of mankind: the birth of Jesus Christ.
