Jerusalem and the entire holy Land are the beating heart of christianity. Jesus lived in these places and it’s here that his disciples testified of his death and resurrection, giving to the world the glad announcement of the gospel. Where Jesus passed, there it’s flourished the huge historical, artistic and cultural richness, condensed in the beauty of the places of worship that commemorate him. There are more than thirty chapels, churches, basilicas, which each remember a moment of the life of Jesus: from the humility of Bethlehem to the enchantment of Tabor; from the mystery of Nazareth to the glittering enigma of the Sepulcher… Pro Terra Sancta Association is committed, alongside the Franciscan custody, in the maintenance and preservation of the sanctuaries of the Holy Land, which testify to the millenary faith that has flourished around Jerusalem. A mission that can be enjoyed by workers, schools and local communities, committed to work and educated by the beauty of their hometowns.
