The Saint Anthony’s Charities continue to support the unprivileged in Bethlehem

Giacomo Pizzi8 March 2013

This year, the Saint Anthony’s Charities of Padua decided to offer their support again and contribute to the project “Taking care of the Holy Land” that aims to obtain medicine for the vulnerable people of Bethlehem.

The aim of this project is to help people who are sick and unprivileged, making sure they have access to basic medication thus trying to improve the physical and psychological conditions of Christian families in the area of Bethlehem. In addition to providing medicine, the project plans to offer training sessions to the local population in the form of discussions focusing on different topics such as health, hygiene and nutrition with different groups of people (youngsters, mothers, adults and elderly people).

ATS pro Terra Sancta continues to care for the most vulnerable parts of the community of Bethlehem and will strive until sick people can live with their pain in dignity and not abandonment.
