One Year Later
A year ago, on February 6 at 4 a.m. local time, a devastating earthquake of magnitude 7.8 struck Turkey and northern Syria. The tragedy has claimed more than 56,000 lives, including at least 7,200 in Syria. Today, one year after the tremors, the situation is still very critical.

Rebuilding Hope: Aid Brought Forward in 2023

Reconstruction of houses
Over the past year, thanks to your help, we have been able to rebuild and repair 260 houses in the areas of Aleppo, Azizieh, Latakia, Knaye and Yacoubieh.

Solar panel repair
Around 200 households have returned to using solar panels and water heating systems in their homes.

Meal distribution
Around 474,000 hot meals distributed over the course of 2023.
4.
Psychological support
Our centers have accompanied 6,000 children who showed signs of post-traumatic stress disorder.
