Solidarity gifts for Lebanese children

In Lebanon about 70% of students attend private schools, as the public school system has never been able to provide a propriate education. With the crisis of 2019 , the condition of Lebanese public schools has worsened due to the impossibility of maintaining facilities and staff until they close for long periods causing an increase in the dropout rate.

Most teachers either no longer work because salaries are too low, or have emigrated.

LEBANON

Children can no longer attend school

Until 2022 , private schools had managed to maintain the cost of tuition in Lebanese pounds, raising it considerably, in order to meet the management costs. Today, given the drastic increase in prices, they are forced to charge part of the fees to families in dollars, since the value of the Lebanese pound is at an all-time low.
