Without a real and sustainable economy, the risk is that entire communities lose not only their livelihood, but also their roots and their future.
We believe that assistance is not enough: we need to create self-employment, training, and long-lasting social value.
What does it truly mean to stay?
Staying is not a simple choice. It means deciding not to yield to emptiness, to the lack of opportunities, or to the necessity of leaving to build a future.
Staying means safeguarding. It means believing that one's homeland, with its history, its crafts, and its identity, still has something great to say. But to be able to stay, concrete conditions are needed: decent work, tools to grow, and the certainty of being able to build a life here.
Through our socio-entrepreneurial projects, we offer women, young people, and local artisans exactly that: the opportunity to turn their connection to their land into an independent, solid, and future-oriented work opportunity.
We do not offer a simple welfare intervention; instead, we bet on people's ability to become the protagonists of their own redemption.
Through Project Management courses, targeted financial support, and the drafting of sustainable business plans, we support key local figures, such as Amna, a midwife in the village of Sfireh.
Thanks to this journey, Amna transformed her expertise into an independent medical clinic: a local facility that now provides essential care close to home, prevents risky emergency journeys to Aleppo, and creates qualified local employment.
